Let me just say that I recommend Ljubljana highly. This is one of the prettier cities in Europe and possibly the most pleasant to be in. The Slovenian people are so laid back and friendly you wonder if you just didn't step into a painting. Stay here for very long and you'll wake up one morning realizing you're missing something - stress. I could get used to that.

Slovenian food is very good. A local friend of ours took us to Vodnikov Hram and we liked it enough to return a couple of days later.  Also for a less traditional meal that's fabulous check out Bistro Zvezda where we at the "crunchy's" the very flat spelt flour crusted pizza things. I recommend them as they're fabulous.

Oh Slovenians love their Gelato and it's half the price of Paris.
