We planned on staying in Paris for one month as we usually do but our apartment was only available for 3 weeks. Last year we spent a week in Provence and decided a repeat was in order. Out of the cities of Provence (Avignon, Arles, Orange and Nimes) we liked Nimes the best and wanted to spend more time there. Technically Nimes is not in Provence but rather Languedoc so the gallery is labelled as such.

Our house in Nimes was half the cost of an apartment in Paris which offset the cost of the 3 hr Ouigo train between the two cities.
