The People
After getting to Oaxaca I was amazed at how different the people here looked than Mexicans in the U.S. or Mexico City (which look different from each other still). The Oaxacan people are actually very beautiful. This gallery is a lame attempt at getting candid shots of Oaxacan people. We sat at the Zocolo for about 10 minutes snapping pictures of people as they walked by. Most of them were shyte and I threw them out but here are a few pictures that are actually presentable. Some of the discerning features of the Oaxacan people that I feel are attractive is their long slender noses and higher cheekbones. You may not be able to see from these pictures but there here anyway.
